MODELLING WAVE OVERTOPPING AND WAVE IMPACTS BY MEANS OF IMAGE CLUSTERING TECHNIQUES

چکیده

The experimental modelling of the wave-structure interaction processes is a very complicated issue, due to highly non-linear turbulent flow conditions, including wave breaking and air entrainment (Stringari et al., 2021). Recently, Formentin al. (2021) demonstrated that videography can provide reliable representation breaking, overtopping impact at walls. They filmed laboratory tests smooth dikes with crown walls (Formentin 2018; Palma 2020) low-cost full-HD camera compared results video-cluster analysis applied its records measurements obtained through traditional techniques. derived accurate quantitative estimations free-surface elevation, discharge, volumes, velocities celerities. aim this paper further investigate possibilities by focusing on impacts detection amount entrapped during themselves.
